Interior wood.. if teak, is easy. Both boats should be great. I'll take the IP exterior and the B30 interior!

Congrats, I like the Baba's but there is a lot squeezed in there and of course all the teak is not a plus either.... especially if it had teak decks Sounds like you did good!

Yep, you use a nylon snubber and chain hook, even if you have a windlass. The snubber can go to one cleat if your bow roller keeps the line captive or you can have one that goes to both cleats.

I assume you've actually looked at some of your boats in the flesh.... Big difference in the "feel' of some boats... some are like caves; dark and little light... and some are open and lighter.......

The Valiant 32 is not the performer the 40 is, even size for size. FYI: I wont say where I got this info, but there is a reason they are so low priced.

Your analogy does kinda fit! Functional, not that pleasant to the eye.... but then a Valiant 40, with that big boxy cabin trunk isnt much different! :thumb:

One thing about the Baba... it's Ta Shing built... doesnt get much better than that. Not sure about the later ones. Seems like there were some later ones built without the teak decks...?
