You might be correct in cold climates but I think you will find Atoll is building this vessel for operation in more tropical climates.

No. To a centrally located rig. Whilst the Prouts have aftmast rigs the Lagoon is a centrally located rig.

Built in tanks are not uncommon. Also puts weight low and central lather than higher on the bridgedeck - an advantage.

Fuel tanks use special resin to seal the fibreglass.

Those lumps are not that heavy.

Light compared with diesels and the extra extended length more than makes up with extra displacement. :thumb:

Sounds as if you could use flat panel resin infusion for all those panel for the lightest construction. KSS system.

I would not be sure moving the mast foward will necessarily improve performance.

Centrally locating mast allowing for smaller mail and larger foresails is a modern design trend for improved...
