It might, but if you don't get it dry and put it away in a locker, well you know what will happen. A $20 childs paddling pool will look cheap in comparison to a mouldy sail, particularly one dumped...

Tom, it won't dry if its been in salt water, salt is hygroscopic. You need a paddling pool of warm fresh water and possibly some gentle liquid soap to remove the salt first.
