Okay, that's the method we have on our propshaft nut. It certainly rotates, and it has a castle nut and cotter pin. I've just never seen that method on a propshaft coupling. It's always been...

Same question from me, why not? Has anyone else had bad experiences with nylocs? I use them a lot, and the propshaft coupling is one of the places I thought it would be a good idea.
