That's a good point. I don't have any of the new slippery lines aboard so it hasn't been a problem for what I sail. Ex makes a great point about spinnaker sheets. Don't use a stopper there. |

Yes, some of our club members use that one instead of the figure 8. I still use the figure 8 because I'm old and that's what I learned first. I use knots that I used in the Navy. Reef, slippery... |
