Re: Bestevaer 49ST

This is quite disturbing. I have been talking with Jildou about Zenith and other Bestevaers, discussing options and manufacturing techniques. We haven’t yet discussed warranty issues but it looks...

Re: Bestevaer 49ST

That's probably a good idea John. I'll copy to a new thread and enjoy learning from the replies, wherever they come in.

Re: Bestevaer 49ST

The Pure 45...

Re: Bestevaer 49ST

Ooo, yes please! 🙂

For balance you might simply list things you’re pleased with while offering detail on things you’d change.

Some manufacturers host forums where customers, real and...

Re: Bestevaer 49ST

NE, SWL - quick question. I haven't been able to find what kind of keel arrangement you have on Zenith. From the interior it's not looking like a lifting keel, but it could be a Dykstra style...

Re: Bestevaer 49ST

Golly, there's been a few contributions lately. :) All useful, in my view. Actually, I am keen to learn about how polar bears get into boats. This thread, about building a boat that can take intrepid...

Re: Bestevaer 49ST

Hello NE and SWL.

I'm reading through the thread again; such a mine of good information. :)

I've been in a quandary about a particular design aspect since finding the thread way back, and just...

Re: Bestevaer 49ST

Re: Bestevaer 49ST

Fair enough.

I'll have a good play with the generic numbers I've asked KMY to send me. See how it compares with the other boats I've mentioned.

I really like the idea of having those 360...

Re: Bestevaer 49ST

Oh, so sorry for drawing it to your attention. I was sure it had been spotted before.

But don't feel too bad. I saw a friend's new boat recently and straight away pointed to the name and home port...

Hello noelex and SL.

Again, thanks for this thread. Inspiring stuff!

My wife and I have been looking closely at a few new yachts and have also been looking at your Bestevaer.

We think we've...

Pic attached.
