Not convinced with good reason I think:

We ran into some cadets from the Annapolis navy school and were told that at the speeds a Prout would move at (vs a tanker at 20 knots) the bulbs won't...

Are all three of your tanks plumbed together with transfer pumps?
and
is that a hatch I see above the tank in the front deck locker??

Nice Bling!

We have two of the Whale manual pumps - they work well so long as they are well above the waterline. :whistling: (found out the hard way when we put more stuff on the boat...)

Is your head really mounted on an angle, or has SaltyMonkey been drinking too much funny water...

Was it teak you've used for the rub rails? And did you through bolt? .. I ask because ours are rather leaky and we are considering removing the through-bolting to have less...

Buzzman,

Yes the Prout Snowgoose does slam quite a bit when going into an oncoming sea (it can actually be scary watching the baby stay go completely slack), but it doesn't take much of a shift so...

Thanks for this link - did you get a 3/8" or 5/16" end? ebay has it listed as "3/8UNF OR 5/16UNF THREADS ON END RODS" so it's not clear.. the replacement I want is 3/8"

Thanks - unfortunately they don't do equvalents to telflex. It looks like I either re-design or buy the custom cable from Sillettte (~£200).

I'm referring to the cable which steers the outdrive - not the locking for reverse cable. In our Prout this is connected to a foot pedal below the wheel (which from your photos looks to be...

I notice from the pictures you have the footpedal for the Sillette drive leg - did you install that or did it come with the hull?
I'm asking because I need to replace ours, but it seems like prout...
