Have you checked your engine to be sure there is not a second ( or even third) hole for temp senders. Often engines will have more than one each a different size. Mine has two. Sometimes the...

Here is Faria spec sheets from their website and it appears the OHMs range is different so a Teleflex/Sierra would not work.
