I wonder if people are confusing Manson and Mantus. Manson anchors are definitely cheaper clones of better designs, the Mantus is anything but.

I was turned off by the significant quality differences between Mantis and Rocna, but I might be overly cautious.

Rocna and Vulcan are designed by the same people, I think their recommendation is the Classic unless you have a clearance issue. I myself just went through this and ended up getting a galvanized...
