The bow pad eye area is raised so not solid deck. From memory it was all glass, it is flat underneath. I backed then with a 5mm thick stainless round plate and made it slightly smaller in diameter...

Previous post about bow pad eyes, just cut out the Sika and you can insert the backing plate and nuts without too much hassle.
Also the Clutch for the bowsprit down haul, this photo is my neighbours...

Hi Dave, the job list just never gets shorter. I was recently quoted a 109sqm assym from Ullman Sails, where are you getting your Code 0 cut? Also as soon as Jen sees the Oven pics my job priorities...

I doubt the two inverters will work in parallel as such as being different hardware they may not be able to sync their phases like two cascaded of the same type. What you might be able to do is use...

A trap though is if using the pex piping with these fittings and not a hose barb connection. Both Whale and John Quest pipe sizes refer to the external diameter to match the speed fitting.

I didnt realise Victron made a 350W panel but keep in mind their panels are 72cell therfore large compared to a more efficient 60 cell panel. But efficiency comes at a price

aelyafi congrats on the 450S order, can I add my two cents worth.
I did my own genset install, a Paguro 8.5Kva. The price you were quoted sounds alot, you can get the 8500 for about half that ...

This is the location under the helm steps on the 450S. You access it via the stb cockpit locker, yes those are the 450F steps you can see under there...

Do you need to cool all cabins? Perhaps owners cabin and saloon, place one unit under owner bed the other in saloon? Cooling all cabins with 20kBtu is spreading it very thin I think. Another option...

The saloon will not cool via cabin cooled air, the expelled hot air from the cabins will rise into the saloon. Also the saloon is exposed to more direct light and heats further when the oven or stove...

Looking at the plug picture, your onboard neutral (blue) wire is connected to a 110 live input, thus your onboard neutral is live. The 220V being achieved by the difference between your 110V Hot...

The reverse polarity light indicates a voltage across the neutral wire. Lagoon have put two pole breakers after the shore power plug and at the MCB panel but you should check any other AC power...

Electricity is indeed a dark art. I can't help but think the solution is too simple but don't know why it might be a risk. As long as both hot wires are out of phase you will get 220v albeit at 60hz....

I've only done this once and it wasn't down wind. With the lazy bag rolled up the Lazy Jacks are still connected to it and essentially in the correct rigged position. I then loosen them and pull them...
