I think there is more here than that. The scope used on the reset was 3.5 to 1 and they reset at 2-3 knots. The bottom was also loaded with material. No question, the Rocna was not the top anchor in... |

Was at West Marine today. Guess who now carries cheap new generation anchors with the WM name on them? And they back up what they sell. They had a 20 pounder the OP can afford. Is anyone still... |

Maybe you are not viewing all the replies. ANY new style anchor is going to perform better than that Delta. Don't want to spend $300? Here you go...brand new and its a 22 pound, new style, basically... |

I hear you, but we are talking about an anchor already over sized for my boat, made of carbon steel plate (not cast) with a proven Rocna design. Not a perfect design but mods can be made to increase... |

Couldn't resist. Bought a Rocna copy. Except for the finish, it looks pretty much like the original. The welds show a little splatter, but have excellent penetration. I bought a 35 pounder for $199... |

Doing what a lot of you have already done. Utilizing a modern anchor for any overnight stays and will pull out the old Danforth for squishy mud if I can't relocate first. |

Don't think there is a Mantus Supreme. Manson Supreme, but not Mantus. They are similar, but not the same. |
