Personally I'd give them away and get Danforth Hi Tensile anchors, not because they have balls on them but because the Hi Tensile are the best; stronger for the weight, and I find them entirely...

No Danforths won't turn, they weren't designed for that. But if you set two on a Bahamian mooring, or to hold bow and stern, they are a solid set up. If I think there are rocks around I will buoy the...

As one who uses Danforths, I agree with Cheechako. I have short lengths of tubing on mine to protect the boat.
