That's the part I'm struggling the most with.
Over the years, I've been fed countless story of "how it used to be 30-40 years ago" by older divers/fishermans/deckhands.

You don't need the boat that most older people have. Small boats go the furthest. I've had 28 boats and my best times ( at least in my mind ) was when I was broke and cruising on boats under 30ft...
