One of my 'just in case' redundancies is a small Honda 2k generator. It tucks away nicely in a small space. 2K is a nice useful load. I can use it for my coffeemaker, my water heater, my backup hob... |

One of the duo, Seaworthy described in the past how they used a kettle to balance their water for this on the previous vessel. I think maybe because I am of the post war generation and can remember... |

You raise an important point in yacht design. Their is a collective approach in the design of a vessel to NOT make it very secure. I have been really disappointed in many catamaran designs for this... |

I think, given that you will be sailing in colder waters for a while, a small back boiler from the stove to the shower water receptacle would cut out the kettle trip. I have no problem with the... |
