In a word, resources --- and people are taught to be wary, if not positively frightened, of older things. As well as desiring 'new', often inferior ones. |

Not absolutely sure, but the engine is probably Perkins/Shibaura based. Not sure about the model number either, but KN9, 3H3XL, 451E2V are numbers associated with an engine that looks a lot like the... |
