There's a bit of a paradox here. Because the draw of pulse radars...out of guard mode...is considerably higher than the newer "digital" models, there is the tendency to use them sparingly when not... |

Good point on the "forest versus the trees" aspect of active radar usage. A radar installer told me that for offshore, I would be better with a pulse radar for range, but for coastal detail, he... |
