Yeah, what he said. I wonder if my intuition to NOT turn down in bigger wind is due to being taught to sail by racers who are all about Course Over Ground toward a mark? I was told to "steer toward... |

Yeah, not only is it uncomfortable, but getting over-powered short handed is not good because you won't be able to manage other things, like your glass of wine! Where we sail, we call them "puffs"... |
