When I had a look at the Trident site that Never Monday turned me on to I saw a similar device...sure seems like a good idea...they also have a valve that closes if it gets to hot.

My dad tells me they used to make a propane supply hose that will shrink closed when it’s exposed to high heat or flame.

I'd sure like to use this on my stove installation.
