They tell me it's a year, but ours had been done for 5 years when we got it and it still produced 300 ppm water. If you have a tds meter you can always try it.

It sounds like you might have. WWhat you need is a pump maintenance kit. All the seals and o-rings probably dried out while it sat. A pump maintenance kit comes with all new seals and o-rings.

That is correct. They leaked from the end caps some as well and I agree they weren't smooth enough, but I might have been able to work on that, but there's no fixing the leaks through the sides. ...

Don't try DIY water makers. They have recently gone to carbon fiber pressure vessels and they don't work. I tried them and have gone through 4 without any of them holding water. One failed under...
