If it's any consolation, in over 150 races I've never seen a racer DSQ'd for throwing something over the side although I have witnessed uneaten food tossed on occasion. It was more a hypothetical... |

Maybe fish guts aren't considered trash since you are returning them to from wince they came (sans a few pieces) as opposed to tossing something over the side that originated on land? |

No food waste which is not comminuted or ground allowed less than 3 miles from shore. 1/2 sandwich or apple core is neither of those. In the OP I offered it as a violation of the USCG - 3 mile... |
