No use adding more ways boats can fail as we are talking about losing a keel, unlikely to happen on a full keel sailboat. I own a bolt on keel myself but I would not debate a skinny keel on a light...

I understand that ownership brings personal bias but your argument regarding full keel vs the lightly built bolt on keel on the B40.7 makes absolutely no sense. The original design of the keel...
