The rule requires that trash be thrown overboard "intentionally." I don't think barfing over the meets either the 'trash' requirement or the 'intentionally' requirement.

Throwing trash overboard is specifically prohibited by the RRS Rule 55. It's a bright line rule, that also outlawed using rubber bands or wool ties to launch spinnakers. I am not sure if it has been...
