Just to clarify a typo in the ticket thread above (unable to edit).

Re: Wifi Extender

We are quite confident the antenna was shipped to you. All shipments are checked three times before being sent out. I suspect the antenna was misplaced somewhere between the United States (where it...

Re: Cellular Repeater

Finding a wide band high gain antenna to cover most if not all European cell bands can be accomplished.

Utilizing an amplifier like you are looking for is an issue. First are the frequencies, and...

Just to make sure correct information is shared here, we have not sold the Alfa version of our system for 5 years. Our current systems rely on a combination of both custom hardware and Ubiquiti...

Agreed, but instead I am insulted. Big difference, sorry.

Was not trying to impress anybody. Not being intimately involved, and not have all the facts, I disagree with your assessment...

Re: Wirie Pro

Thank you for bringing this important point up.

Criticism is fine, but personal attacks, not so much. (so far I am an arse, condescending, dishonest, and arrogant all in one thread).

Keep in...

Re: Yanmar SD20 Kingston Seacock raw water valves

We did it every week, and still not enough. Within 6 months it would no longer close fully. And we did this on 4 brand new seacocks over 3 years. All the same.

The parts I supplied above all...

We have not sold Alfa equipment in The Wirie products for over 3 years.

Re: Boat wide Wi-Fi with surveillance cameras, Internet and Garmin gpsmap 7000 serie

We wrote up a blog post about this issue that may be of interest to cruisers wanting to add cameras to their boat.

I am a commercial member, and not trying to "push" our product, just trying to...

Re: Yanmar 2GM20F Exhaust Mixer/Elbow

You've got me. The parts catalog clearly shows it as a plug, not a zinc. Maybe they ran out of plugs and installed zincs in some units... Seems unlikely, but stranger things have happened.

All...

Re: Yanmar 2GM20F Exhaust Mixer/Elbow

I wrote this in a previous post:

"They make a forged version which is likely fine, but had no vertical room to accommodate it so we had to use the more standard, low profile, versions."

Re: Yanmar 2GM20F Exhaust Mixer/Elbow

Can you take a photo of the zinc and location and post it here? I am indeed curious as to what you have found.

There is no part # for a zinc on the F as far as anyone knows, including Mack...

Re: Yanmar 2GM20F Exhaust Mixer/Elbow

The 2gm20 has a zinc like you describe, but I am fairly certain there is no such zinc on the 2gm20f(c).

The specific engines we had were 2gm20fc-yeu. They also made a non yeu version as well but...

Re: Yanmar 2GM20F Exhaust Mixer/Elbow

1. Exhaust hoses were all replaced when we purchased the boat. We used very flexible hose, not the stiff kind.

2. The port engine hose had a slight pull as shown in the photo. The stbd engine...

We had our US tank filled in Santa Cruz 3 years ago. They even had the adapter for US Horizontal tanks, which I have never seen anyone else have (except our own).

In the Gambier, you will not be...
