Hi.

I guess it is just getting a feel of which harbor town you like, as far as: the drive time, access, if you want to do anything else while you make the drive to go sailing, etc.

I live over...

One straightforward question: Is it frowned upon to connect duplex cables to a...

Re: Great Lakes Charts

Thanks Mike. I have a feeling most charts would do the job just fine. The way the charts are marketed makes it very unclear what extra information one gets with the more detailed charts. As I am...

The marina didn't launch too many boats prior to April 13, anyway. However, I'm sure they will be behind on various things.

I...

Re: Navico Radar, to splice or not to splice?

Thanks. By gland I mean parts D, E and F. Maybe those are easier to deal with than I am thinking.

I was thinking of tieing the ri10 in to the same Empirbus power lines that feed the other...

Re: Navico Radar, to splice or not to splice?

Re: Roller Furling

One piece of advice to the OP is to make sure the outhaul tension is present when unfurling. Otherwise, unspooling the sail can bunch it up in the mast.

Vertical battens can catch. For my Selden...

Re: Amel 50 - Build Thread

Sorry if you listed it... but what type of sails did you choose for your Amel 50? and what options were there? Do you have vertical battens on the main? I am wondering if/how that works...

I have never used it...
