We cannot figure out how the power is going to the batteries with
only two lines that appear to be inbound from the panels. All gauges seem to be accurate. Any thoughts?

Agree that weight and size are considerations. The Handi weighs73 lbs and measures 24”x 20”x 15. Where did you store your units?
