Re: The cost of moorings

Thanks for the information.
I will enquire on the distance to the supplier.
Depth is 10ft lw but tides can be up to 30ft.
Mooring is for 12m to 25m boat length.

This is the information I've been looking for. As basic as it now sounds, for someone who has never used a chart plotter before this, as far as I can see isn't mentioned in my...

Re: es series Raymarine chart plotter

My GPS gives me speed and I thought it would also record distance traveled?
I haven't put my paddle wheel down as I have speed from the GPS.

Boat clearance

My Beneteau first 41s5 has boat clearance of 18.6m. According to the specifications.
Is this a measurement from the plimsel line or from the keel?
Any help appreciated

Re: Replacing manual toilet with electric.

Yes very annoying, really strange that none are manufactured with alternate discharge positions.

Replacing manual toilet with electric.

I have to reposition the pump 90° clockwise to fit the electric toilet in. This results in the discharge port facing the door which means bringing the discharge hose over the front and bending it...

Re: What is this.

Thanks rbk.
Must have been used by a previous owner. There is ST600 auto helm in that locker now. I'll just leave it there to fill the hole. Thanks again.

This sounds pretty risky. But has anyone successfully beached their keeled yatch for a clean, using props to keep her upright?
Mine is a First 41s5 with a winged keel which might make things easier,...
