Well that is the truth in my experience. But mostly what I have noticed is that maybe they were cruisers once, but now are now just people living on a boat that more times than not is falling apart.

There are a lot of cruisers who LET systems imping on their cruising. It was very rare for me to not have a problem with "something", but they rarely stopped me from cruising

- Freezer/refrigeration -20 hours (most pf that was installing new electronic thermostats and replacing seals). Not much...

What are these complex systems some seem to believe break all the time?

Cruisers can find an extra 30 minutes a month to do some extra maintenance if need.

I disagree! The things people on CF write like they break all the time, rarely really break. But the enjoyment they provide is HUGE!

Boat wasn't totaled as it was only insured for about 50% of its value. Took the payout, sold a few big accessories and then sold boat in 4 days as it was. Ended up with about 80% of the boat value.
