That is correct always make sure that the "o" rings, sealing rings and coppers are replaced. always put a light film of grease on the "0" rings and sealing rings... Good luck PM me if the issue... |

Isuzu base engines are always white the expansion tank & heat exchanger can be any color. The valve cover is the give away it's white and the oil fill is in the middle |

You can tell by looking at it that it was an industrial engine that was marinized. At least I can try looking up Isuzu industrial engine dealers and give them a S/N |

It sounds like your throttle is creeping disconect the throttle cable from the injection pump hold the throttle lever in the idle position. Does it still happen? If so it's in the governor assemble.... |

The timber for a ship is green white oak it's hand selected by a master shipwright. Most of it comes from VA & NC. When it is harvested it is rough cut then shipped to the shipyard. |

You could go with 4 group 31 batteries or stick with the 8D's. The average life of a flooded battery is about three years on a boat or truck. I would not go with AGM or Gel. they bare over priced.... |
