    Well hi to all on here and thanks for some amazing Reading. Have spent hours on here so far and will no doubt spend many more.

    Have loved sailing since being fortunate enough to grab a 3 month trip as a know nothing newbie on a 55´ ketch (with NOTHING automatic or power driven) up the east coast of Australia many years ago.
    This involved LOTS of learning (from a VERY knowledgeable captain. Thanks Bernard) amazing days, 50´swells, storms, serene times, running aground on a coral cay at 2am (the crew on watch that night wasn´t too clever) followed by 4 days on our side and then 5 more in the lagoon til weather allowed a move, jumping 50´from the spreader into clear blue wáter and so, so, so much more.

    Joined a club in London on my return, learnt to sail dinghies and loved every minute of that too.

    After having attended a friends wedding in Mexico recently I´m off (flying, as I failed to find a boat to hitch a ride on) from Cancun to Cuba. (Hopefully internet in Cuba)
    After Cuba I intend to head vaguely south through the Caribbean ending up (probably) in Venezuela in some months time.

    What I would love to do, if anyone can point me in the right diirection please, is to hitch / work (pay exes) a passage on some or all of this adventure.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    And could someone also tell me please if there is a way to follow threads here automatically as there are many that I´ve read that I´d like to follow.
