    Stu,
You certainly have a ton of knowledge on the electrical systems….so…..could you advise me on what you would do on the following:
I have a Rosborough 246 with a Yamaha 225hp outboard. I am planning on 4 lithium house, 1 lead acid starter, Victron Lynx distributor, Victron 3000w charger/inverter, Victron MPPT controller, Victron DC to DC charger (to charge the lithium and the lead acid from the Yamaha). I’m adding a few more bits and pieces (solar panels, battery monitor) but wondering if you would recommend any specific equipment to complete the install?
    Thanks, Dean (Bruce Mines, Ontario)

Hello - Found your post from 2017 about the Garmin Map chips and an "unlocker" program you were emailed. I am wondering if you could provide any additional info on this and if you were able to get it to work to copy Garmin map chips? We have a dinghy that has a chart plotter and I am hoping to make a copy of the main boats chart plotters chip to use in the dinghy chart plotter so I don't have to buy a 2nd chip just for the dinghy. Thanks in advance for your help and time on this. Theo

    Hi Stu,
I would be delighted if you could tell me where you found on the internet a downloadable copy of Letcher's book "Self-steering for Sailing Craft" because paper copies are rather silly prices. Thanks. Roger

    Stu,

I read your comments about the Baha Dash and would love to have a copy of the Cruising World article you mentioned. I'm considering buying a Islander Freeport 36 in Panama and sailing/motoring it back home to Vancouver and reading everything I can find. I'll check out your blog as well.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

    Stu,
I read your post about an article called the "Baja Dash". Would you please send me a PDF of the article.

    Dear Stu,
I live on Salt Spring Island, and am installing a new Beta 25 with 75 amp alternator as I speak. I would like your opinion on using my existing balmar mc-614 with this alternator for my 300 Ah house bank. Perhaps phone would be more efficient, if you are willing to chat with me. I am at 250 537 six seven zero three. I understand if you are swamped by this sort of request and cannot spare the time!
    Best Regards, Greg Slakov.
