Ok, one more question. Schooner Chandlery has the pumps but they are saying if you get the .105 cam you should limit pressures to 800 rather than the full 1000 the pump is capable of. I don't see this as a problem. What do you say ?
Hey Pizzazz, I am just about to order the newer model pump, the 107 ? I have the option for the .105 cam instead of the .85 - supposedly more flow but I am supposed to limit pressure to 800psi. Is this a problem ?
On that same thought train - if I can get better flow should I go with the 2521 membrane instead of the 2514 ?
Hello Pizzazz, I am planning to build a watermaker based on your info and I have a question about pressure vs. flow and quality. If I understand you correctly a lower output pressure reduces quality but increases flow/quantity and vice versa. Can you elaborate on that a little for me ?
Also, if you have a good line on the Pumptec pump I would appreciate that as well, I am hoping to buy one soon.
Hi Pizzazz. I'm looking into building my own RO WM and like the simplicity of your design. Are you able to get the Pumptec 116C with the 0.105 cam? If so, how can I order one through you? John
Hi, I read carefully what you wrote about the raymarine and this Opencpn extension. I am about to get back a raymarine RD418D without its screen and I was wondering what about it ?
Hey man, thanks for your post on RO watermaker using a Pumptec 116C pump/motor combo; I'd like to build one. Looks like you have a dealer account and can sell/ship them? I'd be interested in one and wonder how much cost/shipping to NC would be. Thanks!
