I read with great interest about using Cryogel Z for your insulation. I was just about to move forward with rigid board R5 I think but realized (with the guy doing the work) that the volume of my freezer would be too limited...searching for alternatives led me to the forum and to your post.
I would love to talk to you about your experience and I think the XL tool you talk about would also be insanely helpful.

Hi, I am in Europe. I have no specific LFP cells but the whole system is from Victron. That means I have solar panels from the brand Solara (Power M), the LiFePo from Victron, the MPPT regulators from Victron, etc. The system was designed and set up by preVent-germany.com (Mr. Stengel) a specialist in Solar systems. I am still amazed of how well it works and how much energy it generates. It is really plug and play without any worry about electricity ever again. I have not managed to get below 60 % with electrical heater, water maker, autopilot, fridge, etc.. Apart from sailing the LiFePo and solar system ist the best thing about the boat. :-)

A little late in gettin back on your reply... havin my coffee and still waking up. I'm still getting my "list" of things to do with WFC, and it's almost overwhelming. Last week, I pulled a plate off the cockpit flooring and replaced it, and all the collateral damage needs to be cleaned up. Next issue is getting the in mast rolled main pulled down and having the leech reinforced. yadda yadda yadda.... on my own for a couple days and am leary about getting something started and then the problems become more aparant like the layers of an onion. Would be great if my wife was psychic so she could just understand and I wouldn't have to explain each time I contemplate the potential problems with each bolt removed... lol. how you holding up in Anacortes? I hear there is still snow dropping from time to time? What's up with THAT?
