I was reading your comments on the Aqualarm bilge pump switches your were contemplating installing. Did you install them? If so, what is your opinion of them?

Regarding your question about females: I answer you in private to save the peace of the list: imagine females are not getting more mature than adolescence. Not sying it is like that but to work on that basis helps to understand a lot.

You might want to consider the Corsair F-24, easier to trip, and we find if you combine this with rooms and occasional camping, it works great.

I listed mine in classified if your interested

Hey, I hear you know the score on the Turks & Caicos. I would appreciate some words of wisdom. We're sailing there in from lower Bahamas in late June, early July (hopefully before Atlantic storms start in earnest), and we've never been before. We are on a 50 foot cat, looking for cool snorkel sites (not diving this trip), beach bars, maybe a restaurant or two (focus on food, not fancy decor), and good places to reprovision. Ice is very important to our beverage goals! We're looking for fun, are not opposed to some crazy fun (enjoyed full moon party and special tea at Tortola), etc. Also interested in great beaches and reefs, wrecks, snorkel sites. Many thanks.

Canibul, hi, appreciate your point of view. I kind of thought a Trem would be too big for your requirements and mentioned the site out of possible general interest only - Olin's obituary, Haile's article.

However, I know the company pro-built some Trems and Bill Dunn, the new owner, might know the sail numbers.

I expect I'm the archetypal impoverished enthusiast who always looks for the inexpensive solution, but my attitude to Windrider 17 is that it's great apart from the price! So in your shoes I might well consider a good 2nd hand Trem plus a Hobie, but equally I expect you may have deeper pockets and different priorities.

    Good sailing! - John K.
