Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things.
When a man wans to go cruising, and the woman is not onside, you hear about it. When a woman wants to do something adventurous and the man only wants to sit in front of the TV , drink beer and watch the game, you are far less slikely to hear about it.
If she says anything , her friends and family are far less likely to support her getting off the well beaten path . They are more likely to lay a guilt trip on her. Makes you wonder how many women , who would love to go cruising, are married to guys who simply want to drink beer and watch the game.
Maybe it's wifeswapping time.
Many guys pick a mate who is very traditional in her ambitions ,then, later, get the bug to go cruising, and can't understand why the woman he chose for her traditionalism, can't easily make the switch. That traditionalism is what you chose her for! Maybe choose a lifestyle first ,then find someone who is interested in sharing it, altho there is no guarantee she won't pretend to be interested in cruising, while secretly thinking "I'll humour him, by pretending to be interested in his goals, then steer him away from this cruising sillyness later" That is very common, from what I've seen.
I remember sitting in a bar next to beautiful woman and getting into a conversation with her. She said " Men here on the west coast just don't seem to have lot of class."
I thought of the line in an old song "He uses all the great quotations, he says the things I wish I could say. But he's had so many rehearsals , girl, to him you're just another play." It appears she was looking for someone who had had a lot of rehearsals ,to whom she would be just another play, in other words, a disposable.
Perhaps she should seek out the guys who are a little less refined ( rehearsed), and abit rough around the edges , who would be far less able to take her for granted and consider her a "disposable ". The term "diamond in the rough " comes to mind.
When I see a set of perfect teeth in a perfect smile I think " She probably leaves them in a jar by her bed every night." A few imperfections indicate authenticity. The same is true of people in general.
She seemed surprised when , after a long conversation, I said "Goodnight" and left, without trying to pick her up, or ask her for her phone number. I've seen far to many guys take on the slavery of having to maintain an act, or try to keep up with the Joneses. No thanks. I don't need any pretentiousness in my life.
The fading of bossy hormones, which comes with age, are a wonderful relief. Look foreward to it , children under 40.

I'm perfectly happy with the Catamarran, Chardonnay and Romance... enjoy all three...
Sympathise with the majority of womens dislike of 'TippyTippy'.
What I'm not happy with is the ... "I think You, your Lifestyle and Philosiphy are Wonderful and I'll sail with You forever"
After two or three years of trying to change your Perspectives to hers you become a " Coldhearted, Insensitive Bastard... all I want is Security"....
Three times so far, inspite of my saying I have no intention of being 'Land Bound' for more than a few months at the begining of each Relationship....
