Horizontal Bottle Storage in Fridge . . .

OK, I'm tired of the Admiral's "pile of beer" storage in the bottom of the fridge. She likes her beer COLD (for me, just plain cold works), so she's reserved a spot on the bottom section of the fridge for her "pile of beer". It's a cardboard package, covered in plastic, that used to hold those stupid 12 oz plastic water bottles. The shelf is about 12" high. Does ANYONE have a horizontal bottle storage solution that doesn't let the bottles roll around in the fridge when at sea?

This thing is driving me nuts. Especially when I open the side door to the fridge and get attacked by a handful of loose beers.

Drink one of them! It makes the clinking noise disappear.

If that fails, keep trying.

Eventually you will succeed.

I use one of those rubbermaid (or somebody) things that hold 12 cans. It sits athwartships in my box, and when sailing, I just jam a piece of foam rubber in the space left vacant. Never dumped a beer yet.

Should be against the law to put beer in cans.
