Surviving Monster Storm, Part II

I'm not a student of WWII or navy ships but Halsey's Typhoon is so well written, I can't put it down. It isn't just a war story but a weather story and a tale of politics, history, personalities and so much more. More than 800 seamen died in this tragedy towards the end of WWII in the Pacific. The authors are true wordsmiths.
