And, back to the point, I think that you can experiment without a high degree of concern on virtually any day that doesn't have extreme currents or a high sea running. Stay in the channel(s), watch for shipping traffic (monitor Ch 14), keep your eyes open, and have fun.

I was there, too, videoing the test. Ray, how are you doing? I well remember how hard it was to capsize the Tinker, and, indeed, had two as a result of that test...still have one. Great dinghy. I remember the Coast Guard inquiring what we were all up to. Cheers, Tim

Sorry, thought I'd mentioned … to open the charts you have to use firefox as your browser. I don't know why, or if there is another way, but it should open with firefox.
