I Think I'm Hooked

Soooo...everytime we go out sailing I can tell I'm getting more and more hooked on it...more than likely, for life! I love it all! I'm happy where I am and how I'm progressing...but I want so much more! We just sail around our little cove in the gulf of mexico for hours practicing, and I'm really satisfied with the days events and lessons learned, but man, I can't wait until we actually sail to a destination of choice! I don't just wanna be a "weekend sailor" I wanna GO somewhere I haven't been to before. Maybe I'm just too impatient...how much caution can I throw to the wind and get away with it? LoL!

It sounds like you are well on your way. Learning the basics is a good foundation that leads to distant shores. I only sailed my catamaran six times before I set sail around the world. Of course, I had sailed lots of other boats prior to setting off on our Privilege 39.
