So one day... I sorta bought a sailboat.

Firstly, names Patrick, I'm 21. Secondly, I just bought a 73 Morgan. 27 footer. I'm from New Orleans, but live in Fort Myers. She us a fixer upper, but I've done a lot already. Installed shore power and 120. redid the upholstery.

I sailed her sixty miles from Charlotte harbor to what is now home. I'm new to sailing, but planning to go far in her.

... Now that we are acquainted, here are my billion questions.

GOOD ON YOU PATRIC!!!!, I bought my first boat at 22 (17 foot) and my first real cruising boat at 24(26 foot). It was a great life to be on the water. Now I am old and planning a bucket list cruise, which will be slower, but still fun. OH to be 21 again.____Grant.

hello....and welcome aboard! nice looking boat. kinda reminds me of when I started cruising...with a 26' gaff-rigged New England workboat....but we took her to the Bahamas with wife and 5 yr old. wouldn't trade those times-memories for anything! the point is: they are out there for you to grab....and it looks like you have a good start......enjoy!
