I've done a couple of Caribbean cruises on the Cunard line years ago. They were nice, but we spent so little time in port that I did not get much out of the experiences.

It all depends what you are looking for. If I was going to do a paying cruise, I would do a Star Clipper Cruise when they are moving the ship from the Med to the Orient or in the opposite direction. At least they will have sail up part of the time and there is a little of the clipper ship experience.

On the chance we're not getting our leg pulled here...if you've always gone Carnival and this would be your first Norweigan cruise, you'll know in 10 minutes upon boarding the Norweigan ship why the other line is called Carnival.

Welcome, we are mainly geared towards smaller vessels here but I think the Norweigan would be worth it.
Cheers,
Erika
