New to Boards (and Boat Ownership)

Hello all!
My name is Kevin and I'm very excited to join the community here; I've followed the cruisers forums for awhile now yet just decided to create an account and post along with you all this morning. The title to this into post is a bit of a misnomer... I'm moving to CA this winter and plan to buy (and eventually live on) a sailboat once I get settled.
I grew up spending my summers on a 40' SeaRay Sundancer (powerboat), but came to love offshore sailing in College and can't wait to sail again (this time on my own boat). See you on the forums... I'm sure to have TONS of questions in a couple of months!
