New member, longtime lurker

Hello all,
Well I finally registered an account here after reading the site for a long time. I own a 1974 Challenger 35 sloop in Richmond, Ca. and sail primarily on the San Francisco Bay. I am 38 and have been sailing since I was 19, but only seriously for the past 12 years or so. Worked in the charter business for several years, then at boat yards and as an independent contractor for several more. Now work in commercial photography. I am hoping to pay my boat off and go cruising sometime in the next 10 years.

Welcome aboard! Good to have you here. You've got some challenging sailing there on the Bay. The few days I was there it was 0-30 from all directions and changing constantly. Keeps you on your toes.
