New to Forum - Long Island sound

Hi,

I just logged on to Cruisers Forum. I've been sailing since on Long Island Sound since the 1960's, racing juniors, one designs and phrf. Currently I sail a Pearson 28, which I am moving into the West 79th Street Boat Basin in New York City this season for the first time.

Welcome Evan, I'll give you a wave as you sail past my window...my business
is on the Hudson at 54th street.
We sail on Long Island Sound ourselves, but no racing.
Let us know how you like the 79th st. Boat Basin when you
settle in... We are considering a overnight stop there on our
way up the Hudson late Sept. or possibly later in the fall.
