hi to all from bruce and bernadette. We are looking forward to retireing in mexico puerto vallatra. I started sailing at 12, and fell in love with saililg. I started off in small crafts and stopped at the lightening, a 20 foot race boat. I was always skipper, dad was on the mail and mom was on the jib. Lots of 3rd and higher, 3 second place, but never a first place, but the fun we had was the greatest time of my life. I am looking at a seaward eagle 32 foot at present. Have fun, be safe and God bless.

Welcome to CF Bruce and Bernadette! Do you plan to keep the Seaward up there in Alberta or buy one further south?

Re: new member

I would like to buy vancouver canada or california area and then sail to mexico. However most of the boats listed come from florida and that area. Will need a lot of time to sail that distance. Will use yacht clubs along the way for R&R and refueling and restocking. Then the boat will live in vallarta.

Re: new member

Bienvenidos y welcome! I guess the Seaward is popular in Florida because it does well in shallow-draft areas such as Florida or the Chesapeake.
