Yes I've heard many times myself already (one year live aboard) to never sail with a schedule!

Welcome to the forums, enjoy your trip! Good luck on the retirement and thank you for your service.

Army, huh? Shouldn't you get an RV and travel around, leaving us Navy guys to the water?

I haven't left the Chessy ..... yet! But right now there is still too much of it I wanna see!

I also agree about the schedule. Sailing is a lot like the Army......hurry up and wait!
