Making Progress

Good day 2 all. I first joined in 2011 w/a vision on buying a boat in Charleston SC & start learning 2 sail. 2 years later I have a 1966 Columbia Challenger in Carolina Beach NC in a slip waiting 2 be sailed 2 the Myrtle Beach area I imagine learning with her will b like learning 2 drive n a 66 straight drive. Lol. Still got a few preparations but the goal date is by April 1st. Tried the move when I first bought her n September & ended up on a sandbar laid over. Lol. Was a great learning experience that I could not have bought and am very grateful for. I learned, 1st hand, that preparation is key! I also learned what a great vessel I have; for me. I also learned that all the books and stories here gave me the peace I needed 2 enjoy the experience. Thanks for sharing.
