Hello Cruisers Forum,

My name is Tom.

I have been on the water longer than I care to admit -- much of it as a live-aboard on both sail and power boats.

I served in US Navy on destroyers, and later was a licensed tonnage Master working commercially on the water based out of Newport.

I'm now semi-retired -- taking it easy, moving between Southern latitudes in the Winter and Northern latitudes in the Summer.

I hope to continue to learn from your experiences, and maybe share a few of my own.

Welcome Aboard, Tom.

You'll find the CFers a mixed bag, as with any group. If you don't mind saying, where, very approximately, do you base yourself? Hemispheres is close enough. It actually helps to know where someone keeps his boat when offering advice, as I'm sure you know. Different issues in Lake Superior from those in Kemah, TX, and so on.

Fair winds to you, as well.

Ann

Hi Ann,

I'm on the move right now.

I hope to be in Mystic, Connecticut (USA) later this month, and plan to cruise New England for much of the Summer.

I'm on the water all year long -- one way of the other.
