Just thought I would say helo

Hi I am from England
I retired 3 years ago and 2 years ago we moved to Spain
I have never owned a bout before but went out and bought a spotsboat Mariah 21SC with 5 ltr engine1999 along with a 9 foot rib with 4 hp outboard
boy talk about spending money when you own a boat
we live 2 min walk to Mar Menor which is part of Costa Calida and is part of the Med but formed into a lake by a group of islands forming a strip the Mar Menor is about 10 mile by 25 mile with a few small islands in it
I moor the boat on a floating mooring
weather is good all year round and extra hot May to October
anyway hi
and hope to talk soon

Hello, and a warm welcome, Colin. The Mar Menor sounds like a great spot for boating. Hope you enjoy the Forum.

G'Day Colin,
Nice to hear from someone more of less permanently based in the Mar Menor. Had acquaintances who cruised in and out and based from Almerimar and points further south - and have sailed past the entrances more than a few time - but never went in.
Anyway - for sure others will lambast you with questions and look forward to reading more myself.
Cheers
JOHN
