Wink Hi from the land of SOLID water!!

Just a quick line...I'm new here.

My wife and I have just, this past summer, aquired our first sailboat, a 1977 CS27...and we couldn't be happier. While we are new to sailing it has been a dream all my life, and at 46 I decided it was time.

We hope to have this beautiful boat for two years, then we get out or get bigger...33' perhaps. Our long term goal is the Caribbean but I have so much to learn!!

I'll lurk for a while, I expect monohulls is where I should spend my time....thanks again.

Welcome aboard Danno. We livaboard in the land of solid water. Known to the ice boaters around here as hard water sailing. Those things surely go fast. I wonder if they find it slow when they go soft water sailing?
