Hi from the Exe Estuary

Hi. I have been renovating a 35ft gaff cutter for the last 2 years & live on board half of the week. Most of my spare time is spent working on the boat or dreaming of sailing off to distant climes without a care in the world. Unfortunately my dream comes at a cost so I'll have to continue working indefinitely it seems. Just wanted to say hello.

Sounds like a great project. Is Exe short for Exeter?

Yes, the river Exe leads to Exeter. I have been moored on the Exe estuary for the last 6 months, but soon will head up the Exeter canal for my winter birth. Will stay in the water in the Exeter basin for the winter & lift out in Jan/Feb to carry out a few minor repairs to the hull. It's a good & cheapish place to keep the boat for the winter.
